Ten on 10.10.10

Ten on Ten
”Take a photo every hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month. Document a day of your life and find beauty among the ordinary moments.”

My friend Mel has been doing Ten on Ten for awhile and I have been wanting to do it myself for the past few months.
I have failed.

However, when I saw that the tenth, this month, was on the second Sunday in October, a very special day for our family, I knew I had to do it.

So here we go, my very first ten on ten, on 10.10.2010!

9:30 am
A glimpse at our view on the drive to Augusta.
I love me some sun flare. Or at least the closest thing to sun flare that you can get with my Kodak Easy Share camera.

10:30 am
A visit to both my dad’s father and my mom’s father in the Augusta cemetery. They are buried just about 100 feet from each other.

11:30 am
The church where our annual Sausage Supper takes place.
All you can eat sausage, mashed potatoes, green beans, and applesauce. Heaven.

12:30 pm
Playground fun after stuffing our bellies.

1:30 pm
Pumpkin Patch time!

*Extra illegal shot…
They loved the Wizard of Oz scene.

Winery time.

3:30 pm
Lots of laughs with our huge family, as well as Maggie’s fiancé Austin’s family, who came in town to join us for our annual get together.

4:30 pm
The kid arena.
Steve wasn’t real impressed when I packed up so many toys, (Barbie vacation house and all!!!) but once we set it all up he knew exactly what I was thinking. And he thanked me a few hundred times.
Happy content children = parents that can relax a bit and enjoy some wine.

5:30 pm
One last shot of the remaining kids.

Even though we have the most children in our group, three crazy girls, we somehow ended up being the last ones standing.
No naps and all.
My girls did not want to leave.
I love it.

6:30 pm
The view on the way home.
Missouri. A wonderfully beautiful place to live, if I do say so myself.

Happy Wednesday!
