I married my best friend on October 12, 2002.
To celebrate ten years together we snuck away to a bed and breakfast for a night of peace and quiet.
There was not a TV in sight and {gasp} no wi-fi.
It was just us and the old historic building we were staying in.
See, no TV in sight.
Our view made me drool……antiques!
This was our little balcony. We woke up on Sunday morning and drank our coffee out here.
We headed out for a walk around town and saw my great-grandpa’s church and the famous White House Tavern that I spent many a childhood “second-Sunday-in-Octobers” playing with my sisters.
On our walk we spotted this sign.
We obviously had to follow it.
Someone was having a little too much fun with her new camera……
That someone may or may not have been me.
The next day just so happened to be the Second Sunday in October and our annual family get together in Augusta, MO- the same town we stayed in Saturday night!
We met up with all our family and after the Sausage Supper we took some super cute pictures at one of the wineries.
Like this one….
And these……
My silly parents….
This cute couple…..
and this hilarious accident when Steve was looking across the field at the Cardinal’s score and I was Debbie Downer about the lady in our shot.
And a sisters series…..
The best day of the year!
