I always joke with my sister Maggie that I am her PR representative.
I wish.
That would be a dream job for sure.
In 2007 Maggie was selected as a member of the USA Junior Women's National Team and helped win the gold medal at the ISF Junior Women's World Championships in The Netherlands.
My parents got to go and watch her play.
In 2009 Maggie was First-Team All-Big Ten

That is awesome!!
how proud you must be of your lil sis.
that's so great :O)
Amazing!! And I love how much you support her--you're such a wonderful sister!!
How cool is that! And how great to have such a sweet and supportive sis!
Hey Marta, I didn't know Maggie was playing on a USA national team. Well done to Maggie. I expect her and Michigan to hae big years next year. Unless Maggie surprises us all and transfers to the University of Florida for her senior season. ;) Hey Jenn Salling transfered from Oregon to Washington this year and helped them win a national championship. And Florida could use a fine lefthanded hitter like Maggie with all the senior lefty bats we're losing. Well it's just a thought but it's the thought that counts. I think. ;)
P.S. - Longtime Gator fan here. :)
P.P.S. - Marta, what a nice twitter page you have. You've got a wonderful family and well done on being a traditional mother. I didn't see much media covrage of the outstanding 2009 WCWS online so seeing your photos and blogs from Oklahoma City was great. Great family photos of you and your kids and Maggie and her neices. :)
that amazing i want to be just like you when i grow up
